Ceramic bonded diamond grinding wheel has good chemical stability, good heat resistance, small elastic deformation, high hardness and brittleness.
The self-sharpening, abrasion resistance and grinding efficiency of the grinding process are between the resin bonded diamond grinding wheel and the metal bonded diamond grinding wheel. The abrasion and shape retention are better than the resin grinding wheel, and the sharpness and efficiency are better than the metal grinding wheel. People attempt to improve the toughness of the resin binder or increase the brittleness of the metal binder, so that their performance is close to the ceramic binder, with the resin binder diamond wheel and metal binder diamond wheel instead of ceramic binder diamond wheel, but it is difficult to achieve the goal;

Ceramic bond diamond grinding wheel is mainly used for grinding of carbide, titanium carbide tool materials processing, as well as hard ceramic, polycrystalline diamond, natural single crystal and other hard brittle non-metallic materials processing, the processing of these materials, its service life, grinding efficiency, sharpness and using performance than the resin bond diamond grinding wheel and the metal bond diamond grinding wheel is superior.
Ceramic binder due to its rigidity, porosity and other advantages, when grinding can own chip capacity and chip removal, grinding temperature is low, so as to make the surface of the workpiece clean.
Compared with resin bonded diamond grinding wheel, ceramic bonded diamond grinding wheel has lower grinding force, especially normal force, during grinding, so the workpiece can obtain excellent dimensional tolerance and surface finish.
At the same time, ceramic bonded diamond grinding wheel is easy to be dressed, which can be mounted on the grinding machine during dressing, with high dressing efficiency and low price.
The dressing efficiency of the ceramic bond diamond grinding wheel is very high when the dressing pen is used to sharpen it, especially when the single particle diamond dressing pen is used, the efficiency is just like that of the green silicon carbide grinding wheel.
