Flat/Surface grinding
Mainly used for grinding surface, groove and so on on the surface grinder.
There are two types of surface grinding: peripheral grinding with grinding wheel external surface, generally using horizontal axis surface grinding machine, such as the forming wheel can also be processed various forming surface;
End face grinding with grinding wheel is called end face grinding. Vertical shaft surface grinding machine is generally used.
